EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).
Our representative will receive you at the Kathmandu airport and bring you to the hotel. Take some rest at the hotel and then our guide will brief you about the trip. They will provide you short information about the tour and preparation for tomorrow’s sightseeing. After a briefing, you can visit the local areas and buy some personal packing for your overall trip else take a rest at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Pre-trip Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.
After breakfast, we host a pre-trip meeting at the same hotel and introduce you to our professional city tour guide for your further trip. He will brief you about your overall Kathmandu valley sight seen. You get an opportunity to ask your questions about Nepali heritage, culture, religion and Nepali lifestyle. Clear your confusion without any hesitation. And also be sure that you have your document fulfilled.
Then, after a briefing, our tour guide will lead you to your today’s trip places according to the schedule. Here we visit one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world- Boudhanath Stupa, the famous Hindu temple is located on the bank of the holy Bagmati river- Pashupatinath Temple and the temple known as “monkey temple”- Swayambhunath. After main entrance at Pashupatinath, you can see the Hindu holy men (sadhu) who are particularly famous for this area. In Swayambhunath we can observe Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding there. We will also visit another most attractive religious place of our country. At earlier evening back to your hotel and manage your trekking gears. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2695 meters, trek to Phakding (2610 meters)
Early in the morning, Your Trek Guide will come to your Hotel then our private vehicle will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight to Lukla. You will fly for 30 minutes with the view of beautiful Himalayas. After landing Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, our guide will introduce you our porters before the trek to Phakding. Here begins the adventure of trekking. Today you will walk only about 3/4 hours to Phakding. To reach Phakding, we have to descend towards the Dudh Koshi River which leads to the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka. It’s easy to walk after passing through the small sherpa village of Ghat. Overnight at Guest house in Phakding.

Day04- Trek to Namche Bazaar (3480 meters) 5 hours.
Today we walk along the bank of Dudh Koshi River, during the day across many exciting suspension bridges to reach Namche Bazaar. On the way to Namche Bazaar, the trail passes through the Sagarmatha National Park which wildly changes the steeply breathtaking view. As Namche Bazaar is considered as the main gateway to Everest Base Camp and summits, it has developed into the town with all the luxurious guest house, Hotels and urban facilities like restaurants, money exchange services, internet cafe and fresh bakeries, Local and top branded trekking gear. You need to walk 5/6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar. Tonight stay at the Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar Rest Day, Acclimatization day.
Today you will stay in Namche Bazaar. It’s the place from where we can see the first view of Everest. From here you can see incredible views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu Himalayas. Hike up to Everest view point hotel and visit Sherpa land beautiful Khumjung village and exploration of local places and experience their culture. Take overnight rest at Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m/12,664ft): 5 – 6 hrs
The dawn calls for a yummy breakfast and you start your trek towards Tengboche enjoying beautiful views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku. Your trek follows on the gradual trail with a few ups and downs overlooking glorious view of the great Himalaya. Along the way, you can spot wild lives like pheasant, musk deer or a herd of Himalayan Thar. The trail goes gradually down up to Kayangjuma Village. The path eventually reaches Sansa which is the major trail junction to Gokyo valley and Everest Base Camp.
The track will then penetrate you through the pine forests and crossing the prayer flags festooned bridge over Dudh Koshi River, we reach Phunki Thenga, a small settlement with a couple of teahouses and a small army post amidst the alpine woods. A tongue-twisting lunch at Phunki Thenga will be your fuel for the tough little climb steep up through the pine forests before approaching Tengboche. Tengboche is a great place for close up views of Ama-Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest and it has a biggest Buddhist Monastery all over in Khumbu Region. Late afternoon, we can visit the monastery and pray for success. Overnight stay at Tengbuche.

Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m/14,300 ft): 6 hrs
With mountains at its backdrop, the monastery at Tengboche looks more magnificent in the morning. At this moment, you can take pictures of the monastery with a beautiful Himalayan range of Mt. Kwangde and the scenery around and start your journey as usual. You choose the upper trail for better views on the way to Pangboche. You pass through several Buddhist Chortens and Mani walls and small villages. The place where you stop for lunch not only serves delicious food but also allows an unbelievable close-up view of Mt Ama Dablam. In the afternoon, you walk north to Pheriche or take the Eastward trail beneath the towering North face of Mt Ama Dablam.
From here onwards, the walk is fairly moderate as you enter the Imja Valley. The valley gradually unfolds as you approach the confluence of the Lobuche River. You descend into the river and begin the last and steepest climb of the day up to Dingboche Village. On arrival at Dingboche, you will see a beautiful array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat, and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. Relax your painful body inside the warm blanket with the melody of Dingboche.

Day 08: Acclimatization day and Explore around Dingboche
Explore Chukung valley and excursion to Chukung RI (5445 m) for outstanding View of massif Makalu, Everest, and their surrounding landscapes. After lunch in Chukung back to Dingboche for an overnight stay. It takes around 5/6 hours round trip.
Or your tour guide will bring to Dingbuche view point, from viewpoint you will explore magnificent Mountain View and marvelous valley of Sherpa village, Guide will advice you where we visit for Acclimatization it will depend on your health condition.

Day 09: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,910 m/3 – 4 hrs
Weak up early in the morning, beautiful sun rays come through your windows, Stretch your body with doing some movements and start your day with a climb to Duglha through the Khumbu Khola valley. The walk along the arid terrace with awesome views of mountains, when you approach near the yak herders place called Dusa, the valley begins to narrow and you continue through Phulung Karpo, the camp site of the first successful Everest Expedition in 1953. Above Phulung Karpo is Chola Lake. As you move on, the majestic view of Mt. Pumori (7138 m/ 23418 ft) comes into your eyesight. As the trail descends and curves, Mt. Pumori disappears from view and gradually you come across a roaring stream. After crossing a small wooden bridge, you ascend to Duglha.
You can see the top of Mt Nuptse from here as well as Mt Cholatse, Mt Thamserku, Mt Tabuche and several other magnificent peaks.
Take a rest in Dhugla kill your tiredness with some tea coffee then you will climb up the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. You pass through boulder-strewn slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara. At the top of the ridge, you will find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and 10 times Everest submitter, Babu Chiri Sherpa Nepali mountain guide who perished on a mission to climb Everest. As the trail drops to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, you will find yourself facing several great peaks – Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. You are now in the vicinity of Everest but the great mountain still remains elusive. Mt Nuptse towers to the right as the trail crosses the Khumbu Glacier. As we pass along a murmuring stream leaving the Khumbu Glacier behind, we now begin to feel a little out of breath due to high altitude.

Day 10: Lobuche – Gorakshep 5140 m/16,863ft-Everest Base Camp 5364 m/17,594 ft-Gorak Shep: 8 – 9 hrs
The trekking trail to Gorakshep goes ahead through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. You will trek continues through the pyramid sign post. Ahead on the trail, you see the crest of the north ridge of Mt. Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse, etc. A small climb would take you to Thangma Riju from where you perceive 360-degree vista of snowy mountains. Climbing gently up to the top through the torrent of Changri Glacier, You catch your first glimpse of Kalapatthar, a grey-green knoll lower than the Mt. Pumori. As you reach Gorakshep, you will find snow-capped mountains looming all around you including the top of the world – Mt. Everest view.
You almost certainly will have worn out by now so you take some rest and have your lunch and get on the trail to Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorakshep valley.
Continuing straight ahead, you come through the Indian army mountaineers memorials. Only upon reaching the Mt. Everest Base Camp, you will be thankful for the Everest climbers who daringly stepped the hazardous route through the Khumbu icefall. Mountaineers tents stand out in bright colors against the monotony of gray surroundings, especially in the spring. Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Khumbuste, and Mt.Pumori are the mountains you can view from the Basecamp. Everest is not visible from where you stand. You have to ascend more till Kala Patthar to snap the beauty of Mt Everest. Return back to Gorak Shep for overnight.

Day 11: Gorakshep – Kalapatthar – Pheriche [5,550m/18,208 ft]: 8 – 9 hrs
Today is the high point of your trip. Stretch you’re both legs early in the morning to catch the remarkable views from Kalapatthar witness the first light of day shining on Mount Everest. However, you need to get prepared for an early morning 4/5 am dark and cold temperature (-10 to -14 C) departure beforehand. Further, there is always the potential for the chill wind which is quite common. Familiar peaks such as Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbutse, and Mt. Changtse tower to the East even as Everest begins to reveal itself emerging between the West shoulder crest and Mt. Nuptse.
During the ascent to Kala Patthar, you can pause to catch your breath at several marvelous viewpoints to snap pictures.
Ascending for several hours, you reach Kalapatthar. From this juncture, you move quickly to climb the rocky outcrop near to the summit marked by cairns and prayer flags. As you come near the top, you sit on the Kalapatthar where rocks your eyes taking unbelievable Himalayan landscape, traveling from one mighty massif to another. Liberate as many pictures as you can and take the in view with our mind’s eye to last natural life. On being back to Gorakshep, you have breakfast and wait for other members to return back. Rest your fatigue of acclimatization reflecting the in erasable beauties of the Himalayas at Pheriche Village.

Day 12: Pheriche-Pangboche-Tengboche-Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft): 7 hrs
Today, you will trek down through the hillside by rhododendron and juniper trees. If you are there in spring, pink and red Rhododendron flowers ablaze your atmosphere, Depending on your hunger and situation, you either have your lunch in Pangboche or wait until we reach to Phunki Tenga village for lunch. Cross the prayer flag festooned bridge over the Dudh Koshi River; the trekking trail follows the Dudh Koshi gorge downhill rapidly through the pine forests. The path ultimately reaches Sansa which is the major trail junction in the region. You stop at Kayangjuma (3570 m/11,710 ft) for a relaxed for tea coffee.
The trail to Namche Bazaar clings to the steep forested slope beyond Kayangjuma village winding through several bends. We keep a watch out for wildlife such as mountain goats, snow leopards, colorful pheasants, etc, while short-lived through the forest by the trail. After passing a Chorten, you reach the army camp at Namche Bazaar. At this point, you would like to take a long last look and picture back to Mt. Lhotse, the tip of Mt. Everest and Tengboche. Upon success, your lodge, enjoy a nice hot shower and have a very stress-free sleep in your cozy room in Namche Bazaar. Though you will have some pain around your thigh due to continuous move down the memories that are stuck in your mind and heart slowly cover the pain.

Day 13: Namche Bazaar-Lukla (2,840m/9,317ft): 6 – 8 hrs
Early in the morning will slowly pinch your ears and knock your head to wake up for the trip. Though it will be not easy to wrap up the warm blanket, we must say goodbye to Namche today. Extend your body for a moment and fill your stomach with warm and mouth-watering breakfast to petrol down the trail descends gently downward. You need to walk slowly and under control as your shaky legs constantly battle the rocky terrain. Journey to the suspension bridges over the fast flowing “Dudh Koshi River” and its tributaries, the trail becomes more leveled and natural. By today you will start to get warm up by the light wind. Any outstanding sore throats and colds will slowly vanish from today as you pass through this delightful mountain air.
While you are traveling the same route downhill, you feel finally different. You just snap a mixture of open plains, rhododendron and pine forests and in the space snow covered peaks. You will be exposed through the Sherpa villages noticing inspiring faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayer flags while you walk through the Sherpa villages. Upon arrival at Lukla village, stretch those sore legs and recall the experience of the last couple of weeks. Your familiarity the conclusion of a fantastic trek on a happy note with everyone back safe and sound with a smile on their faces! Lots of memories wriggle around your mind and heart.
You will feel that you have touched the feet of the Highest Mountain Peak of the world, Mount Everest and it is leaning down to grace you for your happy and prosperous life. Slowly your eyebrows get heavy due to tiredness and you will be lost in the lap of Lukla village waiting the day to say goodbye Lukla village.

Day 14: Lukla – Kathmandu
The bright morning slowly moved your blanket to wake you up. Your both eyes will be open but you don’t desire to leave the bed because the memory of your journey still pulls you towards Kalapatthar. So you have to pack your baggage and rush towards the airport to catch the engine sky bird for flying back to Kathmandu from where you start your journey of Everest Base Camp Trek. The Dornier drops you following the morning clouds in Trivubhan International Airport of Kathmandu. Our representative from Nepal Unique Treks will be waiting for you to welcome you with your smiling and cheerful faces. They will pick up you and drop to your hotel. After that, you can rest and relax throughout the day at the hotel.
If you get interested to take some gifts home from Nepal for friends and relatives, you can visit some nearby shops for typical Nepalese goods. This short excursion either can be assisted by Nepal Unique guides or you can perform it yourselves too. If you want to explore any other areas in Kathmandu valley, you have to manage time for today as well! In the evening, you will be at a fantastic festivity dinner together with typical Nepali sets (Thali) and cultural program.
You can share your experiences there with us and suggest to us the best way serve other Clints as well for the next time. We will congratulate to your successfully completing your trek to Everest Base Camp hosted by Nepal Unique Treks with a certificate. You will be transferred to your hotel for last night to Nepal.

Day 15: Departure to TIA-
After beautiful sunshine morning will sadly wake up you, your trip in Nepal comes to an end today; our spokesperson will escort you to the airport approx 3 hours before your flight scheduled. On your way to home, you have plenty of time to plan for your next adventure tour in the amazing Himalayan country.
